Cookie & Local-Storage Policy
This policy explains how parentready uses cookies and similar technologies (such as browser local storage). It should be read with our Privacy Policy. It reflects the ePrivacy Regulations (S.I. No. 336 of 2011) and the GDPR.
1. Cookies and local storage explained
Cookies are small files a site can store in your browser. Local storage is a similar technology that lets a site keep information on your device. Both are covered by the same consent rules. parentready relies mainly on local storage, not tracking cookies.
2. What we use, and why
We use only strictly necessary local storage that is essential to provide the service you asked for. Under the ePrivacy Regulations, strictly-necessary storage does not require prior consent. We currently set no analytics, advertising or profiling cookies.

The site itself sets no cookies: the items above are browser local storage.
Our host (Cloudflare) does not currently set any cookies either. If we ever turn on a feature
that sets a cookie (for example Cloudflare bot protection, which sets a short-lived
__cf_bm cookie), we will list it here.
3. Third-party items
Premium is paid through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. When you go to pay, you are taken to Lemon Squeezy's own checkout on their domain, which is subject to their cookies and privacy policy, not ours. On our own pages we embed no advertising and no social widgets. Your account runs on Supabase, which your browser contacts directly; it stores the sign-in token listed above in local storage and does not set advertising cookies.
We do use one measurement tool: Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare already serves this website, so it is not a new company in the picture. It counts page views and reports the device type, the browser, the country and how quickly the page loads, which is how we found out that our own home page was hard to read on a phone. It sets no cookies and writes nothing to your device, and it does not follow you between websites or build a profile, so there is nothing here for you to switch off. If any of this changes, we will list the provider and what it sets here first.
4. Consent and your choices
Strictly-necessary storage (the items above) does not require consent. For anything non-essential (such as analytics), we ask for your consent before it is loaded, through a banner that lets you Accept all, Reject all, or Manage each category. Nothing non-essential is switched on until you opt in, refusing is as easy as accepting, and we do not use pre-ticked boxes.
You can review or change your choices at any time, including withdrawing a consent you gave earlier, from “Cookie settings” in the footer of the planner. That control appears there because the planner is the only part of the site that stores anything; the guides and these policy pages do not. We record your choice so we don’t ask again, and we will ask afresh if our use of these technologies changes.
5. Managing or clearing storage
- Use “Delete my journey” in the app to remove the items above.
- Clear cookies and site data for this site in your browser settings.
- Use your browser's private/incognito mode so nothing persists after you close it.
Clearing this storage will remove your saved journey from this device.
